I think within 24 hours, I caught on that people in the south traditionally do not swear, especially religious-type vocabulary such as GD or H. So I cleaned up my potty mouth and am now mildly shocked when I hear curses. Interestingly, back up north, people swear at will, but it's gestures that can be classified as "fightin' words" up there. I have gotten better ov...Wishing you luck on that!<br /><br />I have gotten better over the years, usually only slips out when I get injured or drop something, etc..<br /><br />I am pretty forgiving of such slip ups in others, but I don't like hearing every other word coming out of a persons mouth being a swear word, makes me think they're not educated or have a very developed vocabulary so they're trying to make up for it...Tara B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13584312084891112603noreply@blogger.com
